Flare Free Food Soya Mince (Serves 5)
Ingredients:

1 cup soya mince sachet

Dry Peas sachet
- 2 cups hot water
Instructions:

Rehydrate the soya mince:

In a bowl, pour the hot water over the soya mince.

Let it sit for 10–15 minutes, until it absorbs the liquid and softens.
- Soak the dry peas in 1 and 1/2 cup hot water for 10 min. Then boil separately for further 10-15 min or until soft.

No draining of excess liquid is required.

Add soya mince:

Stir in the rehydrated soya mince plus the soft boiled peas.

No need to add soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Mix well and simmer for another 10-15 minutes, adding a splash of water if it gets too dry.

Serving ideas:

Serve with pap, rice, samp, or bread rolls

Use as a filling for tacos, wraps, vetkoek, or stuffed peppers

Mix with pasta for a quick meat-free Bolognese
